Share the Care – Community Outreach Campaign

Share the Care: A CUPE Local 2268 Community Donation Drive

A little generosity can go a long way!

This year, CUPE Local 2268 is bringing members together to support two important community organizations: Saskatoon Interval House and Adelle House.

Saskatoon Interval House provides emergency shelter, counselling, advocacy, and support for women and children experiencing domestic violence. For families ready to take the next step toward independence, Adelle House provides secure second-stage housing, supportive programming, childcare, and a safe community where women and their children can begin rebuilding their lives.

We’re partnering with these organizations because solidarity doesn’t stop at the workplace. Supporting women and children experiencing violence means investing in safety, dignity, stability, and the resources families need to move forward. We want to give our members an opportunity to put that solidarity into action and make a meaningful difference in our own community.

How can you help?

We’re inviting members to contribute new items from the organizations’ current wish lists. Whether it’s personal care products, household essentials, clothing, children’s activities, or a gift card, every contribution helps meet the everyday needs of the women and children accessing these services. Donations can be dropped off at General Membership Meetings, or pickups can be arranged by contacting communications@cupe2268.ca.

Please note: Both organizations are currently requesting brand-new items only. Please review their individual wish lists for specific needs before purchasing.
Here are the official resources members can use to learn more, review donation needs, and follow the organizations’ community updates.
